Hi! I am Nabamita, a passionate traveler who has high motion sickness on the mountain routes. So, I’m that kind of traveler who vomits in high altitude and enjoys the journey also. Exploring new places becomes more important when I indulge in their history.
My traveling journey started when I was young, whenever I visited my grandma’s house on summer vacations, my father always gave me the task of penning down my travelogue. I have visited a lot of places but never took the courage to post my personal experiences. In today’s world of blogging, reels have made me kickstart my journey to this.
I completed my schooling long back in 2017 in my city, Bokaro. And did my bachelors from Guwahati, where I got the chance to explore nature and walk in forests, go hiking and explore places. During my post-graduation, I got the chance to work with Hiiker, an Irish-based startup and learned about the mapping and trekking routes. This job not only made me explore countries like England, Scotland, Spain, New Zealand, and Australia but also the long-awaited spark to my passion.
Hmmm! Don’t mistake it, I was working from home; I only visited the countries on Google Maps. Sitting at home was more like falling into a pit. I traveled for a few months, but as savings diminished, I was back into the workforce again. After a few months, again, I joined Himalaya Shelter, shifted to Dehradun and also traveled Kashmir for months. But still something was missing.
I have always planned my own itineraries and learned about many travel hacks while working. Now I have started documenting my trips and treks with photos. And trying to help others about the things—how a travel itinerary works, how to take care of the transports, the stays and also about the rest things. Everything noted here is our own experience and craziness.
This 2025 has brought me many things and many new places to explore. I’m trying to capture and share with you as much as possible.
My bucket list holds mountains, villages, snow hikes, forts, museums, wildlife sanctuaries, national parks, and many more. Only a few have been explored; rest on the way, welcoming to explore more and more.
