Introduction

We visited Bhadraj Temple in June 2024, a serene day hike through the beautiful hill of Mussoorie. This trek starts from the Cloud’s End and back to the same, crossing the forests, rolling meadows, and panoramic viewpoints. This makes a journey unforgettable for adventure lovers and trekking enthusiasts.

What to Carry for Your Bhadraj Temple Trek?
- Carry an extra pair of clothes, Jackets and a scarf for winter.
- A high ankle shoe is best for the trek, but if you don’t have any, no need to worry; it can be done in sports shoes. (We trekked in slippers.)
- Wear comfortable clothing suitable for both a two-wheeler ride and occasional trekking. Certain sections require getting off and trekking on foot, as the steep incline makes it challenging for two people on the bike.
- Take 2 bottles of water. You can also buy water from the dhaba or dukan.
- Sunglasses, caps, raincoat/ and umbrellas are a must, as weather is always unexpected in mountains.
- Winters: Carry and wear clothes as winters are chilling cold and also snow can be seen in late January and February.
- Carry a daypack with your basic essentials.
- Camping options are available in 2-3 places so there is no need to carry additional, but you can still do so if you want.
- Carry some dry fruits and dry food like biscuits or homemade food or you can also get it from local shops. (We had Chai and Maggi.)
- Carry sunscreen, Vaseline, handwash, a power bank and one lighter in case of an emergency.
